Grounded Growth and Releasing Uncertainty for the Taurus Full Moon
As we enter the full moon in Taurus tonight, I am reminded of the HBO series “Insecure.” Whether you watch the show or not, each season features the moon as its own character, with many moments where the characters gaze up at a giant full moon. These instances of moon-gazing serve as moments of self-reflection and realization for the characters.
As I walked home under the full moon, I was reminded of these scenes and the feelings the recent transits in Taurus brought up. Specifically, the transits of Uranus in Taurus and Pluto in Capricorn have brought with them a greater sense of economic uncertainty in our world, which has caused many people to become more creative and innovative in how they make money and how they view their sense of safety and stability.
At the same time, other people have chosen to lean into a scarcity mindset, leading to decision-making that is solely focused on economic concerns and self-interest. Here, we see the relationship between Taurus and Scorpio, as our beliefs, values, and psychological well-being often heavily influence the relationship between the self and the collective.
Taurus, in particular, is a sign closely associated with self-worth and a sense of security, the need to have a nest egg or some other possession in the material world that makes it easier to sleep at night. In contrast, Scorpio represents the search for transformation and excavation to pursue one’s soul’s growth, a need to stay up all night delving into the shadows and seeing what you can find.
