Hanging By A Moment

I love coincidences.

Happy accidents that surprise you like waves of inspiration knocking against the many seas of the subconscious.

Today, I had one such coincidence at the beach.

As I sat, thinking and praying, in meditation and completely at peace, I was interrupted.

Twice.

The first interruption was truly not of God.

As I sat on my bench, a young woman approached and loudly threw her sneaker clad foot onto the back of the bench to stretch.

I thought about moving.

To huff away at the rudeness and disrespect that her actions conveyed, but I stayed. Continuing my prayers, as she stretched away.

The second interruption came at the end of my moment of meditation.

A weathered young man approached, tattered and tattooed.

He kindly asked if he could share my bench.

I obliged, albeit scowling at the universe behind my mask for sending all of these starts and stops to my carefully constructed routine and ritual.

As he sat, we began to chat about his life and his visions.

He was fresh from a tough moment in time.

A Tower moment that you would never know looking into his eyes or listening to his voice.

A Pisces, he loved music and the ocean.

He found it healing and a harbinger of energetic shifting.

He had visions of the future, a new world where there was enough water for everyone.

A world of crystal palaces and telepathic communication.

His presence was calming, seemingly bringing in the shift he so desired through his speech.

We breathed in silence and deep contemplation. In and out, until he began to sing. A short stanza, simple words.

We are Worthy”.

Before I returned to my walk, I thanked him for his time, carefully placing my hand on his shoulder, breathing in the essence of his otherworldliness.

Bumping against a hard object, he unearthed a magician’s wand, his prized possession.

This meeting is not lost on me, as I write fondly about Atlantis and these strange magical moments that we have within and without.

The lapis lazuli beneath the seas of my imagination were once again awakened in that brief interaction.

A coincidence.

A synchronicity.

A beautiful oceanic scene.
