When I think of you, I dream of surrender.
Whenever I write, I usually have a line or a song that influences my writing, and this week, I have been turning around a line in my head that has still not completely turned into a poem.
The line is “Marriage is a license to kill,” and while I’m not yet sure how I want to write about it or explore it, the following poem is what came after I explored my feelings about this statement. I hope you enjoy it!
“When I think of you, I dream of surrender” by FJDay
I crave your touch and harsh tone
the gruffness and grabbing feeling in your hands
When you’re in the zone
And the sound of your voice when you remember to moan
I can spend days swimming in your mind and melding with your soul
When we’re close, it’s like you’re inside of my skin
So close that you become my next of kin
I want to consume you
You taste like honey, and black pepper, and cayenne
Like sweat and cum
I want to suck the taste of me off of your thumb
I want to feel your heart like the beat of a drum
I want to vibrate your name and feel it hum
There is a fire that sparks between us
An ignition of something raw and untamed
And when I wrap my legs around you
There’s nothing I can’t see
